Our office is tucked away in the lower ground floor of M-54 in Kalkaji. If you spend any time in this part of Delhi, you know how hectic the streets can get, but down here at Suraj Informatics Pvt. Ltd., it stays relatively quiet. We spend most of our hours looking at server racks or trying to figure out why a network has decided to stop working for no apparent reason. We are not a large company with a lot of departments; it is just a few of us who actually enjoy the technical side of things. The office is simple, mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of tangled cables that we are always meaning to organize better. We handle IT support and data management for various businesses nearby. Sometimes it is a big project, but often it is just helping someone get their office computers talking to each other again. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks, usually talking about some software bug that took all morning to find. Being in a basement means we do not get much sunlight, but it keeps us focused on the tasks at hand. People in Kalkaji have come to know us as the guys who just get the job done without using a bunch of confusing tech talk. We plan to stay right here and keep helping our local clients with whatever computer headaches they run into next.
