Studio Vetromoda

You can find us at Ghitorni, right on MG Road. Our space is 424 and 425, and we’re easy to spot because we’re directly opposite Metro Pillar Number 132. Being near the metro helps because the traffic on MG Road can get really backed up during the evening. We do a lot of work with glass here at Studio Vetromoda. It’s a mix of a workshop and a place where we show people what we’ve been making lately. The studio usually has bits and pieces of different projects scattered about. We spend most of our days measuring things out or talking to people about how they want their glass to look. It’s dusty work sometimes, but we like being in the middle of it. The area around Ghitorni is full of shops like ours, so there’s always people walking around looking at different materials. We try to keep our doors open so people can just walk in and see what’s happening. We aren't big on formal meetings; usually, we just grab a stool and talk through the details. Sometimes we get behind on our emails because we're busy with a specific piece, but we eventually catch up. It’s just how we work. The light in the morning is great for looking at the colors of the glass we have in stock. We just focus on the craft and getting things right for the people who come to see us.
