Grace Fashion Accessories

If you find yourself in Shahpur Jat, look for the Red Building. We are on the first floor at number 39. Grace Fashion Accessories isn’t a huge place, but it’s where we spend most of our lives. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep and narrow. Once you get inside, it’s full of beads, fabrics, and small metal bits. We try to keep things organized, but when we’re busy, stuff ends up everywhere. Shahpur Jat is such a busy area for fashion, so there are always designers and workers running around the lanes outside. Our windows look out over the street, and it’s always interesting to see who’s passing by. We don’t have a fancy reception area. You basically walk right into where we’re working. The sewing machines are usually going, or someone is sitting at a table putting together small pieces by hand. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. It’s a casual environment. We wear comfortable clothes and talk about our families while we work. The Red Building is pretty well-known around here, which helps people find us. We’ve been here for a good bit of time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. But inside our walls, it’s mostly the same routine every day. We just focus on getting the accessories finished and out the door for whoever needs them next.
