Spark Inc

Greater Kailash is a pretty well-known part of town, and we’re located at E-102. It’s a basement office, so it stays cool in the summer, which is a big plus in Delhi. Spark Inc sounds like a big company, but it’s really just four of us. We do a bit of everything—paperwork, managing accounts, and some general business services. The stairs going down are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step. We have a small fridge for cold water and that’s about it for amenities. The walls are painted a dull white, and we’ve got some posters up to hide the damp spots. It’s an honest place to work. We don't put on any acts for people who come in. If the place is a mess because we’re busy, it’s a mess. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for years. We handle their stuff, they pay us, and we all move on. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. In the meantime, we just chat about the local news or the cricket score. It’s a steady pace. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to keep the business running and the bills paid. It’s what keeps us coming back to GK every morning. There’s a nice park nearby where we sometimes sit if the office feels too cramped.
