Soruav Tonk

My name is Soruav Tonk and I operate out of the ground floor at 41 Kalu Sair. It’s a busy little pocket of New Delhi, right near the coaching hubs and all that. There are students everywhere and the tea stalls are always packed. Being on the ground floor is convenient because we don't have to deal with stairs, but we do hear everything that goes on in the street. It’s a noisy place, for sure. We have a simple room here where we set up our desks and chairs. It’s not a designer space; the walls could probably use a new coat of paint and the furniture is just what we could find that was sturdy. We spend most of our hours here, just chipping away at the work. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. People mostly find out about us because they’re in the neighborhood or they know someone who knows us. We just keep our heads down and do what’s expected. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff delivered, but we make it work. The area, New Delhi -16, has its own vibe—lots of energy and a bit of a mess, but it feels like home. We’re just here every day, trying to stay organized and get through the list of things we need to do before the sun goes down and we can finally head home.
