Shibsekhar Das

Shibsekhar Das has been working out of A-12Eastkailash for a while now. It is on the firstfloor, which is nice because you don't have to wait for the lift which is usually broken anyway. Finding it in New Delhi can be a bit of a puzzle if you aren't used to how the blocks are laid out. The area is 110065, just in case someone is trying to use a map. The street is usually lined with cars, so if you're visiting Shibsekhar Das, you might have to park a bit further down and walk back. It's a busy neighborhood but once you get inside the first floor, it gets a bit quieter. The building is just a normal one, nothing that stands out from the neighbors. We’ve got a few chairs and some desks, and it feels like a home because it mostly is. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the stairwell, making a bit of noise. The mailman knows the name well enough by now, even if the address on the envelope is written a bit messy. It is just a straightforward place to work. There are no fancy lobbies or receptionists here. You just come in and find Shibsekhar Das and talk about whatever needs doing. It’s worked out well for us so far, being in this part of India where everything is close by. We just do our best with what we have here on the first floor.
