Shaji Lukose

I am Shaji Lukose. My place is at F-138 in Nauroji Nagar. It’s a well-known part of New Delhi, and I’ve been set up here for a good while. The building is one of those typical Delhi structures that has seen a lot of seasons. It’s not a glass tower, just a practical place to work. I spend most of my time here. It can get a bit cluttered with papers and books, but I know where everything is. My routine is pretty simple. I come in, check what needs to be done, and I do it. I don’t have a team of people or a fancy coffee machine. Just a kettle and some tea bags. People in the neighborhood know me, and sometimes they drop by just to say hello. Nauroji Nagar is a good spot because it’s central, but my particular street isn't too crazy. I like the independence of running my own thing. It’s hard work, and some days are longer than others, but it’s mine. I don’t write big reports or have meetings that last for hours. I just talk to people and handle the tasks as they come. It’s an honest way to live and make a living. I’ve been here long enough that the walls feel familiar. That is all there is to it, really, just a man and his work.
