Shailesh Kumar

Shailesh Kumar's workplace is located at 209B in the Additional Township of N.T.P.C Badarpur in New Delhi-110044. It is a bit of a trek for some, but being inside the township has its own advantages. The air is a little different here compared to the rest of Delhi, and it is generally quieter. We have set up our office in 209B and it has everything we need for our daily routine. There are a lot of trees around the N.T.P.C area which makes the walk to the office quite pleasant in the mornings. Shailesh Kumar is usually the first one in and the last one out. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans on the walls. Instead, we have calendars and some old photos. The workspace is a bit cramped because we have a lot of books and files taking up the shelves. New Delhi can be chaotic, but this little corner of Badarpur feels stable. We deal with whatever comes our way, one thing at a time. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and talk. It’s a very human way of working, without the pressure of a big corporate office. We like the local vibe of the township and knowing the people who live and work around us. Our setup is simple and functional, which is exactly how Shailesh Kumar prefers to keep it for now.
