I’m Shahidhusain. My setup is over in Satbari Village, specifically number 4 in the Mehrauli area of New Delhi. It’s 110074 if you’re looking for the pin code. Living and working in New Delhi is always a bit of a rush with the noise and the crowds. Satbari is an interesting part of the city because it’s got that village feel but it’s still right there in the middle of everything else. My place isn't hard to find if you know the landmark buildings nearby. I’ve been at this location for a good bit of time now. It’s mostly just me getting through the daily list of things that need to be done. The building is a bit older, which I actually like. It has some character that newer places lack. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit or the internet acts up, but we just manage and keep going. I don’t use any fancy computer systems. A pen and a thick notebook usually work better for me anyway. People in the village often stop by just to chat or ask for some help with small things. It’s definitely not a corporate office with suits and ties. Most days I’m just in a simple shirt and trousers. I try to stay focused but it's easy to get distracted by the street noise. Mehrauli is full of history and you can feel it when you walk around the neighborhood. My work isn't anything world-changing, just practical stuff. I keep the doors open and see who comes in.
