Our office is located at A-443 in Jaitpur Extension, Part-1, down in the Badarpur area. It’s a bit of a dusty part of town, especially with all the construction that seems to be going on nearby lately. We handle medical air products, so there is always some talk about cylinders, pressure gauges, and delivery schedules going on in the background. The building itself is pretty plain, just a standard structure that fits in with the rest of the neighborhood. We don’t really have a fancy reception area; it’s more of a functional space where we take calls and organize the logistics of getting products where they need to go. In the summer, it gets incredibly hot in this part of Delhi, so the desert cooler in the corner is our best friend during those long afternoons. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and making sure the transport trucks are on the right route. The floors are concrete and we keep the stock organized towards the back where it is cooler. Most of us have been working here for a while, so we know the routine like the back of our hands. It’s a lot of physical work and moving things around, but we just get on with it. There is a small tea shop just down the road where we usually go to take a break when things get a bit too hectic.
