Sanjeep Samanta

We are based at number 07 in the Paryavaran Complex. This is in New Delhi, right near the border with Haryana. Sanjeep Samanta is the one who started this whole thing. The complex is a bit of a mix of different types of buildings and small businesses. Our office is a single room on the ground floor. It’s not very big, but it’s enough for what we do. We have a couple of second-hand desks and some chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. The air in this part of Delhi can get quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down our computers and tables. We don't have any fancy brochures or a mission statement pinned to the wall. We just have a calendar and a list of things that need to be finished by the end of the week. There are three of us working here most days. We don't have titles like manager or director. We just all pitch in. Sometimes we have to stay late to get things done, especially when the traffic makes everything slow down. It’s a practical environment. We don't try to impress anyone with how we look. We just focus on the tasks that our clients give us. It is a quiet life for the most part, and we are happy to be tucked away in our little corner of the Paryavaran Complex.
