Salah Software

Salah Software is a small operation run by Ashok Kumar at D-313 in Pulprahladpur. We are based in New Delhi-44, which is a bit of a busy area but we’ve found a quiet corner for ourselves. Our office is basically a few rooms filled with computers and a lot of tangled wires. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with fancy magazines. Usually, if someone comes by, one of us just gets up from our desk to see who it is. We spend our days writing software and trying to figure out why things aren't working the way they should. It’s a lot of trial and error. Most of us learned how to do this by just messing around with computers until we figured it out. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon when we talk to our clients. We just explain what the code is doing in plain English. Sometimes we stay late because a project is acting up, and other days we leave a bit early if the work is done. It’s a very relaxed environment. We don't have meetings about meetings. We just talk across the room to each other. People find us through word of mouth mostly. We don’t spend money on ads or big signs. We just hope that if we do a decent job for someone, they might tell a friend about us. We’ve been in this building for several years now and it’s become like a second home for us.
