Ramesh Dairy

It’s pretty early when we start at Lakshmi Nagar 142. Ramesh Dairy is a small place, but it keeps us busy from the crack of dawn. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are. We have the usual milk, curd, and some other things people need for their morning tea or breakfast. The shop is simple, nothing too special to look at, but we keep it clean. Working in a dairy means there is always something to wash or a delivery to check on. You see the same faces every morning, which is nice. Some people like to chat for a minute, others are in a big rush to get to work. We try to keep things moving fast so nobody is waiting too long on the sidewalk. Lakshmi Nagar is a crowded area, so there’s always noise and people passing by. We’ve been here long enough that the shop feels like a second home. Sometimes the fridge acts up or a delivery is late, but that’s just how it goes when you run a small business. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in, get their milk, and go about their day. It’s a straightforward life. We focus on getting fresh stuff in every day because that's what people expect when they come to a local dairy like ours. It's not a big corporate chain, just us working here. Sometimes we run out of things by noon, but we try our best to keep the shelves full for everyone.
