Foodmax

If you are trying to find Foodmax, you have to head into Shahpur Jat and look behind the Panchsheel Community Centre. We are at number 252 on Khal Gaon Marg. It is a bit of a maze back here, with all the narrow lanes and the small shops tucked away in corners. Sometimes the delivery drivers get a bit lost trying to find our door, but once you know where the community centre is, it gets easier. The building we are in is older and has that lived-in feel that most places in Shahpur Jat have. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights out front. Foodmax is just a busy workspace where we are always doing something. The noise from Khal Gaon Marg filters in sometimes, mostly just the sound of scooters and people talking outside. It’s a bit cramped inside 252, but we make it work by keeping everything in its right place. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day stuff that comes with being in the food business. It is a lot of hard work and not much sitting around. The walls are a bit dusty and the light in the back flickers sometimes, but it is our space and we are used to it. We just show up every day and do what needs doing behind the community centre. It is a simple life for us here at Foodmax.
