Rakeshraushan

Rakeshraushan here. You can find me at H.N-299 in Chauhan Mohalla. This is part of the Madanpur Khadar area, close to Sarita Vihar in New Delhi. Chauhan Mohalla is one of those tight-knit places where everyone knows who lives where. House number 299 is where I do most of my things. It’s a busy neighborhood, very crowded, and the streets are quite narrow. You have to be careful driving a car in here; a scooter is much better. I’ve lived in this part of Delhi for a long time. I like it because everything you need is just a short walk away. My setup is very basic. I have a desk, a couple of chairs, and my equipment. It’s not a showroom. I don't really believe in spending a lot on fancy furniture when the work is what matters. Most of my neighbors are friends, so there is always someone popping in for a chat or a quick cup of chai. It makes the day go by faster. Sarita Vihar is just around the corner, which is handy for bigger shops. But I prefer staying here in the Mohalla. It feels more like home. I just take things day by day and try to keep up with everything. It’s a bit noisy, sure, but it’s full of life. It is just a real place for real work to happen.
