So, this is Rakesh Kumar's place over in Sanjay Colony. We’ve been set up here at A-144 for quite some time. If you know New Delhi, you know how these colonies can get—pretty crowded and always something going on in the streets. It's not the kind of place where you’ll find big corporate signs or anything. We're just tucked away in a row of buildings where everyone pretty much knows each other. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of the vegetable sellers and the bikes going past the door. The space we have isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We handle whatever comes our way day to day. Sometimes the power cuts out for a bit, or the internet acts up, but that’s just part of living and working in this part of town. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or decorating the place; we just focus on the work that's sitting on the desk. It gets pretty hot in the summers, so we usually have the fans going full blast all day. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you’re not used to the lanes, but once you find A-144, it’s pretty straightforward. We've got our routines, we drink a lot of tea, and we just keep at it until the evening rolls around and the street lights come on. It is what it is, and we just keep moving forward.
