So we are down here at Plot No. 286 B, right on the ground floor. If you know the Punjabi Mohalla Village area in Tehkhand, you know it gets pretty packed. Being in Okhla Phase-I means there is always something moving, mostly trucks or guys carrying crates. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The walls are a bit dusty from the road, but that is just how it is in this part of town. Most mornings start with the sound of the shutters going up and someone heading out to grab tea for the crew. It is not a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. We have got our machines set up and there is usually a bit of oil on the floor by noon. Sometimes people have a hard time finding the exact plot because the streets in the village part of Tehkhand can be a bit of a maze, but once you see the sign for 286 B, you know you are there. We spend most of the day dealing with whatever jobs come in. It is loud, it is busy, and the fans barely keep it cool in the summer heat, but we are used to it. No one here wears a suit. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work as soon as the power is steady. That is pretty much our daily life and we like it that way.
