Radiance Beauty Parlour

Radiance Beauty Parlour sits in Katwaria Sarai, at 51-A. Being near Sanskrit Vidyapeeth College means we see a lot of students and young people. They come in for quick trims or to get ready for college functions. The shop is simple. We have a few mirrors and the usual hair washing sink in the back. It’s not a fancy place with bright neon lights, just a regular local parlour where you can get your hair done without spending too much. The street outside is always narrow and busy with people walking to the college. We’ve been here for a few years, so the regulars know exactly where to find us. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use the small inverter, but we manage. My cousin helps me in the evenings when it gets really busy. We do a lot of threading and henna applications. People usually just talk about their classes or the local rent prices while they sit in the chair. We don’t have a website or anything, just the shop front. It’s honest work and we like seeing the same faces every month. It’s a quiet life mostly. We open early and stay until the last customer leaves in the evening. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if a student has an emergency for a function the next morning.
