Visge Lounge

Located in South Extension Part II at E 12. It’s a busy market area, so there’s always something happening right outside our front door. We call it a lounge, but it’s really just a comfortable place to sit down and escape the heat for a while during the day. We have some sofas that are getting a bit soft in the cushions, but they're still okay for a rest. The lighting is kept low to make it feel more relaxed compared to the bright street lights. It took us a long time to get the layout right in this E 12 space because the room is a bit of an odd shape with lots of corners. We have a few staff members who have been with us since the day we opened. They know how to handle the weekend crowds when everyone is out shopping in South Ex and needs a break. We don't have a massive menu with hundreds of different items. We just keep it to things we can make well in our small kitchen. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, but if you ask the guy at the counter, he can turn it down for you. We get a lot of people who come in just to wait for their friends to finish shopping or to rest their feet after walking through the whole market. It’s not a corporate place. We just try to be decent to anyone who walks in and provide a seat.
