We’ve been at 471/12 Sangam Vihar for a while now. It’s mostly just us working with wood and getting furniture ready for people nearby. Dealing with tables, chairs, and cupboards fills up most of our days here. Sometimes the workshop gets a bit crowded with all the timber, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We aren't a big showroom with fancy lights. It’s a local spot where you can come and see what we are making. Most people who live around Sangam Vihar know where to find us. We try to get things done on time, though sometimes the polish takes a bit longer to dry when the weather is damp. It is a straightforward setup. You tell us what kind of bed or sofa you need, and we figure out how to put it together using the tools we have. We don’t have a big office or anything, just the space where the work happens. If you walk down the lane, you'll probably hear the sawing or smell the varnish before you even see the sign. It’s been our routine for years. We just keep our heads down and focus on the pieces sitting in front of us. It’s dusty and loud, but it is honest work. We like staying in the neighborhood. It’s easier to manage things when you’re close to the people you’re building for. That is pretty much what happens here every day at R K Furnishers.
