Fab India

Our place is located in Navjeevan Vihar. It’s a quieter neighborhood compared to the main market areas, which is nice. We have been here at Fab India for a good while. The shop is set up in a way that feels a bit more like a home than a big store. We have different sections for clothes and things for the house. Most of the staff here have worked in this specific branch for a long time, so we know the regulars who live in the colony. It’s not a giant showroom, but we carry a bit of everything. You’ll find us folding fabrics or rearranging the shelves quite often. The light comes in nicely during the mornings. We don't really do big loud sales or have people standing outside with flyers. It’s more of a place where you just walk in and browse at your own pace. Sometimes people come in just to look around and end up staying for a chat about the patterns or the wood used in the furniture. We keep things simple. The street outside is usually lined with trees, so it feels a bit calmer than the rest of Delhi. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed inside too. It's just a regular local shop where we focus on the items we have on the shelves. We’ve become a part of the daily life for people living around Navjeevan Vihar, and that suits us just fine.
