Italica Modular Furniture

We are located up on the 3rd floor at Wazir Nagar in Kotla, right near the post office. Being on the third floor means we have to haul a lot of materials up the stairs, which is quite a workout. We focus on modular furniture, so our space is filled with pieces of wood, hinges, and handles. It’s a bit of a workshop feel rather than a fancy showroom. You’ll probably see some sawdust on the floor if you visit while we are working on a piece. We have some finished cabinets and shelves against the walls to show what we can do. The lighting isn't the best, but we have some strong lamps over the worktables. We spend our days measuring and cutting and putting things together. It’s a small crew of us and we usually have the radio playing in the background. Kotla is a busy area and the noise from the street below always drifts up. We like being near the post office because it makes it a good landmark for people trying to find us. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us. It’s a straightforward business where we just focus on making furniture that fits where it’s supposed to go.
