If you are looking for us, we are right near the BSES office in Vishawkarma Colony. Prachetas India Software Services is based in Flat 101, which is on the upper ground floor of house F-81. It’s a busy little area, and there is always something going on outside. Inside, it is a bit more focused. We do software services, which basically means we sit in front of screens most of the day trying to make things work properly. It’s an OPC, so it started off very small and it stays pretty lean. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the doorbell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets up to open it. It keeps things casual. The office is functional. We have what we need to get the job done, and not much else. There’s a small kitchen area where we make tea, and that’s where most of our brainstorming happens while waiting for the kettle to boil. Working in this part of town is convenient. We are close to everything we need. Most of our day is spent writing code or talking to people about their technical problems. It’s honest work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just fix things and build what is needed. It’s a small operation, but we stay quite busy with the projects we have on our plates right now. The commute is manageable and the tea is usually decent.
