Prabjot Chocolates

Prabjot Chocolates is our small operation located at Malviya Nagar 4. It’s not a big factory. It is just a simple place where we spend our days working with different kinds of chocolate. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way. We like being able to see everything that’s going on. The shop is at number 4. It’s a bit tucked away from the road. Because of that, it’s usually quieter than the main road nearby. We spend a lot of time melting and tempering. Molding can also be quite a process depending on the weather. When it’s humid out, things get a bit tricky. We have to adjust how we work. The kitchen is where we spend almost all our time. It’s filled with the smell of cocoa all day long. We don’t have a big staff. It is just a couple of us doing the work. We make sure everything gets packed into boxes properly. Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients. Then we have to go hunting through the local markets to find what we need. It’s a lot of trial and error. We’ve had plenty of batches that didn’t turn out quite right over the years. That’s just part of learning how to do it. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We’re just a small Malviya Nagar business trying to keep things moving. It keeps us out of trouble.
