Dolce Vita Chocolates

Dolce Vita Chocolates is found at 228, Nilgiri Apartments in Alaknanda. It is a bit unusual to have a business in an apartment complex, but it works for what we do. The space is small and can get pretty crowded when we have a lot of orders to fill. Because we are in Alaknanda, we have a lot of residential neighbors, and they often tell us they can smell the chocolate in the hallways. We try to keep things neat, but when you are working with ingredients all day, there is usually a bit of a mess to clean up before we go home. Nilgiri Apartments is a nice place, and we have been here long enough that everyone knows who we are. We do not have a big storefront with glass windows. It is more of a workshop where the actual making happens. Most of our time is spent measuring things out and checking the temperature. We do not have a big team, just a few people who are good with their hands. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big deadline, and other times we finish up early and head out. Alaknanda is a good area to be in, and being at number 228 feels like our own little corner. We are not a big factory or anything like that. We are just a small operation at Dolce Vita Chocolates, making things one batch at a time in a regular apartment.
