You’ll find us at 11, Eastern Avenue, which is right in Maharani Bagh. It’s a pretty posh area, but our office at Mrs Bector'S Food Specialities Ltd is actually quite humble once you step inside. The avenue is lined with trees, and it’s actually one of the quieter places to work in the city. We’re in a building that looks like a large house. There’s a small garden out front that we try to keep green, though the gardener only comes twice a week. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and sometimes like whatever someone brought for lunch. We don't have a big corporate sign out front, just a small one near the gate so people don’t get lost. The rooms are a bit small, and we’ve had to squeeze in extra desks over the years as we’ve grown. It’s a bit of a tight fit sometimes, especially when we have deliveries coming in. The windows are large, so we get a lot of natural light, which is nice for a change. Most of us have been working here at 11, Eastern Avenue for years, so we’re all pretty used to each other’s habits. We aren't big on formal meetings; we usually just talk across the hallway. Mrs Bector'S Food Specialities Ltd is just a bunch of us trying to keep things running from this little corner of Maharani Bagh. It is a good place to spend the day.
