Our office is on the first floor, number 201 1, right in Gautam Nagar. It’s New Delhi, so you know it’s never actually quiet. We’ve got Polaris Software Lab Ltd set up here because the location is central for the team. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, and we always tell people to watch their step. Inside, it’s just a bunch of rooms filled with computers and cables. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything. It’s more about the work we do at the desks. We’ve got a small kitchen area where the kettle is always on. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to close all the windows tight. Gautam Nagar has a lot of energy, and we’re just one small part of it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. Most of the furniture is stuff we’ve had for years. It’s comfortable enough for an eight-hour shift. We mostly deal with software issues and maintenance. Some of the guys have been here since we opened this branch. We know the local food spots well, especially the ones that stay open late when we’re stuck on a project. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We come in, do what needs doing, and that’s about it. It works for us and the way we like to handle things. We keep a box of old keyboards in the storage room just in case someone needs a spare one.
