Okhla is always crowded, and being on the main road at 1 Lsc Okhla Industrial Area-Iimited means there is never a quiet moment. Paramount Surgimed Limited is tucked into this busy stretch. Our days start early, usually with a truck trying to find a spot to unload near the entrance. There are always boxes stacked up, mostly surgical supplies and medical gear that needs to get moved out to hospitals. The air smells a bit like cardboard and tape. It’s not a glamorous place, just a workspace where the phone rings more than we’d like. Some of us have been here for years, and we know the tea stall around the corner better than our own kitchens. Dealing with medical products means we have to keep things somewhat organized, though the back room usually looks like a mess of bubble wrap and labels. We don't spend money on fancy signs or new paint. The walls have some scuffs from carts hitting them, and the floor is worn down where people walk the most. When it rains, the road outside gets messy, but we just keep packing the orders. People come and go through the Lsc area all day long. It's just a regular business keeping up with the pace of the city. We try to stay on top of the paperwork, even when the computers act up or the afternoon heat makes everyone a bit slow.
