Our address is 1st Floor, 275, Piccadily House, on Captain Gaur Marg in Sriniwaspuri. Oriflame India Pvt. is where we come to work every day in this busy part of the city. The road outside is always packed with traffic, so we hear a lot of horns and engines. We are up on the first floor, and the office is usually quite noisy with everyone talking at once. We handle a lot of the administrative work for various beauty products and skincare items. There are desks all over the room and we are always buried under some kind of paperwork. It’s definitely not a fancy place like you might see in a magazine. It’s just a regular office where the real daily work happens. We have piles of catalogs and boxes of files everywhere. The staff spends most of the day on the phone or typing on their computers. We don’t really have any formal rules about how things should look. It’s a practical space and everyone just knows what they need to get done. The building is older, and the stairs are narrow, so we get a bit of exercise coming up. We often eat lunch while sitting at our desks because there’s just so much going on. We are just a group of people working together here to keep things moving. It gets hectic, but that’s just how it is.
