Newgen Software Technologies Ltd is located at D 162 in Okhla Phase 1, New Delhi. If you know Okhla, you know it’s an industrial area, so there’s always trucks and noise around. It’s a busy place to work. Our office is right in the middle of it. We spend our days dealing with software, which is a bit of a contrast to the heavy machinery you see outside. Inside, it’s just us and our screens. We’ve got rows of desks and everyone is usually wearing headphones to drown out the city noise. It’s a practical space. We haven't spent much on decorations. We have some whiteboards that are covered in scribbles and diagrams that only we understand. Lunch is usually a quick affair, either something brought from home or a quick trip to a nearby stall. We don't have a corporate cafeteria. It’s a bit gritty around here, but the work gets done. We handle technical issues and develop software for various needs. It’s steady work. Sometimes we have to stay late to talk to clients in different time zones, and the building gets really quiet then. We aren't a high-profile firm with a glass elevator. We are just a local office in Okhla making sure the code works. It’s honest, hard work and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time now.
