New Era System is located in Madangir, specifically in the DDA Flats at House No. 862, Street No. 28. Working out of a DDA flat gives the entire place a very homey and lived-in feeling. It is definitely not a glass tower in a tech park. It is a real neighborhood where kids play outside and the neighbors all know each other. Our office is basically a few rooms converted into a workspace for us. We have computers set up on almost every flat surface we could find. The wiring is a bit of a mess under the desks, but we know exactly where every cable goes. We handle systems and tech stuff, so there is always a motherboard or a loose cable lying around somewhere. Since we are in 110062, we are right in the thick of South Delhi's residential life. Sometimes we can hear someone’s television through the wall while we are trying to work. We don’t have a receptionist at the front; usually, whoever is sitting closest to the door just gets up to open it. We drink a lot of ginger tea throughout the day. The sunlight comes in nicely through the balcony in the mornings. It is a simple setup for a tech company. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive office furniture. We just focus on fixing things and managing the systems we are responsible for.
