It’s an apartment building, so it doesn't feel like those big glass office towers you see in other parts of New Delhi. We like it that way. It’s quiet enough to actually think. We have some desks set up in the main rooms and a lot of papers stacked around. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. Most of us have lived in the city for years. We know the shortcuts to avoid the worst traffic around here. Our work is mostly technical, solving problems that come up for businesses. We don't have a receptionist sitting at a front desk. Usually, you’ll just hear the sound of keyboards and maybe a kettle boiling in the back. It’s a normal office for normal people. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to handle the work we have in front of us. The kitchen is tiny, so we usually take turns making tea for everyone. There’s an old clock on the wall that ticks too loudly, but we’ve stopped noticing it. We share the building with families, so you might hear kids playing in the hallway during the afternoon.
