Mak Infosystems is right in the middle of Okhla Main Market at T116. If you’ve ever been to Okhla Road, you know it’s a whirlwind of activity. There are people everywhere and it’s always loud. Our office is part of that. We handle information systems, which sounds complicated but mostly involves us making sure data goes where it’s supposed to and hardware behaves itself. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. The office is small and usually filled with the smell of tea and old electronics. We have piles of spare parts in the corners because you never know when you might need a specific cable or a screw. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We don’t really do big presentations or have fancy brochures. Most of our work comes from people knowing we are here in the market. We work hard and sometimes the days feel very long, especially in the heat. But there’s a good feeling to finishing a difficult job. We’re just a small crew. We argue about where to get lunch and whose turn it is to clean the office. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. Being at T116 puts us right in the heart of things, which is exactly where we like to be. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
