Anyone who knows Shahpur Jat knows the lanes here are a bit of a maze, filled with all sorts of small shops and offices. Our building is right in the middle of all that energy. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is usually packed with people and cars trying to squeeze past each other. The stairs up to our floor are a bit steep, so we definitely get our exercise every day. Inside, the office is divided into a few sections. We have a main area where most of the team sits, and then a smaller corner for the more heavy-duty equipment. It’s not a silent office by any means; there’s always someone talking on a headset or the sound of printers going. We have a small pantry where the kettle is almost always boiling because we drink a lot of tea to stay sharp. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars and some notes pinned up. We don’t spend much on decor because we’d rather put that into the tech we use. It’s a busy, cramped, and lively place to work, but it feels right for being in this part of Delhi. We just get on with things and try not to get too distracted.
