Linu Samuel

My name is Linu Samuel. I operate out of a D.D.A Flat in Ladosarai, New Delhi-30. Living and working in a flat in Delhi means space is always tight. I’ve had to get creative with how I store everything. Ladosarai is a crowded area with lots of narrow lanes. It can be a bit overwhelming for people who aren't from here. I’ve lived in the city for a long time, so the noise doesn't bother me much anymore. My day is mostly spent at my computer or on the phone. It's a one-person show for the most part. I don't have a big staff or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and I’m right there. Sometimes the internet is slow or the water doesn't run, but that’s just Delhi for you. I try to keep things moving as best as I can. People who live in the other flats are my neighbors, so I have to keep the noise down. I don't do anything too loud anyway. It's mostly just thinking and writing things down. I like being in this part of town because it’s close to everything. I can walk to the market if I need supplies. It’s not a corporate office, just my home and my work mixed together. I take the stairs for exercise since the lift is often broken these days.
