Our office for Lamarca Knowledge & Services is located at 124, Shahpur Jat. If you’ve ever walked through the lanes of Shahpur Jat, you know it can be a bit confusing with all the turns. We are just in one of the regular buildings here. It’s not a big corporate office with a glass front. It’s just a place where a few of us sit with our computers and get things done. We offer different kinds of services and handle a lot of data and knowledge work for our clients. The office is pretty simple. We have our desks, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of cables everywhere. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of working in this neighborhood. We like it here because there are a lot of good places to grab a quick snack or a tea nearby. It feels more like a real neighborhood than a cold business district. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just try to do a good job so people keep coming back to us. Some days are long and we end up staying way past dark to finish a project. Other days are slower and we can take a long lunch. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small service business like this. We handle the paperwork, the digital files, and whatever else comes our way. It’s mostly just keeping our heads down and working.
