We have been based at D-7/1 in the Okhla Industrial Area for quite some time now. This place serves as both our office and factory, so it gets pretty loud and busy during the day. Phase I is always crowded with trucks and people moving things around. We basically just handle the engineering and trading work that comes through the door. It is not a fancy setup, just a practical space where we get things done. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we manage. My desk is right near the main entrance so I see everyone coming in. We started small and stayed here because it makes sense for the work we do. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and looking over what needs fixing or shipping out. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just know where we are in Okhla. The floor gets dusty from the machines, but that is just how it is in an industrial area like this one. We keep the tools organized as much as possible, though things usually get messy by noon. It is a straightforward business, no real frills to speak of. We just focus on the engineering tasks and the trading side of things every single day until the shutters go down in the evening and we all head home. It is a long day but we are used to it by now.
