James Pharma Ceutical Company is based over at the Post Office in Okhla Industrial Area Phase No. 1. Working in an industrial area like this has a very specific feel to it. There are trucks moving around constantly and the sound of machinery or loading is never too far away. Our space is tucked in there, focused on the daily tasks of a pharma company. It’s mostly about boxes, labels, and making sure everything is where it should be. The office is right by the post office, so we see the mail carriers coming and going all day long. It’s a busy environment. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. The shelves are full of inventory and paperwork. The desks are usually covered in notes or logs. It’s the kind of place where you wear comfortable shoes because you’re on your feet a lot. Phase No. 1 is a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it, but once you find our spot, it’s pretty straightforward. We keep the place organized because we have to, not because we’re trying to impress anyone. The lighting is bright and functional. We usually have the radio playing low in the background while we work through the orders. It’s not a corporate showroom; it’s a working site. We deal with the heat of the summer and the dust from the road just like everyone else around here. Every day is about getting the shipments ready.
