Our office is over in Sangam Vihar, which is a bit of a crowded area to be honest. Jacobs India Engg has been at Li-1089/25 for some time. If you’ve ever tried to navigate the streets in this part of New Delhi near the Haryana border, you know it can be a bit of a mess with all the rickshaws and people. We have a lot of desks and computers where the engineering work happens. It isn't a glamorous setup. Most of the time it is just the sound of keyboards clicking and people talking over drawings. We deal with a lot of technical stuff that would probably bore most people. It's about getting the numbers right and making sure the plans make sense. We have some tea in the mornings and then get straight to it. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we do our thing. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write shiny brochures for us. We just take on the projects that come our way. Sometimes the internet is slow or it gets too hot in the afternoon, but that’s just how it is here. We aren't a corporate giant with a thousand rules; we are just a group of people working on engineering tasks in a busy neighborhood. It’s hard work but it keeps us busy. We mostly just keep our heads down and focus on the technical side of things every single day.
