Our place, B.P.G. Aquatech Engg. Pvt. Ltd., is located in Badarpur, New Delhi. Specifically, we operate out of Ramanand Singh’s house at number 580 in M.B. Extension. It is a very busy part of the city. We do engineering work related to water systems and treatment. It’s technical stuff but we keep the office side of things simple. There is always someone around the house to take calls or look at drawings. The street, G. No.-37 D, can get pretty crowded with traffic during the day. We have some tools and equipment kept nearby in a small shed. Engineering isn't always clean work. We get our hands dirty quite often on the job. We started this because we knew how to fix things. Most of our days are spent on different sites or looking at blueprints on the kitchen table. New Delhi is a tough place to get around with all the congestion, but we make it work from here. We don't have a big glass building or a sign out front. Just a regular home office where the real work happens. Sometimes the tea runs out and we have to send someone to the corner shop. It’s a small team of people who have been around a long time. We focus on getting the pumps and pipes right. That’s what matters most in our line of business. Just simple engineering done by local people who live and work here.
