Humayupur is a funny place because the addresses always seem to confuse people. We are at House Number 8 on Plot 44/A, right in Safdarjung Enclave. Sometimes the mail says Delhi and sometimes it says Haryana, even though the zip code is 110029. It’s just one of those quirks of the local area. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we’ve got everything we need to keep High Point Rendel Pvt. Ltd running. There’s a lot of trees around here, which is nice during the summer, though the parking is always a headache for anyone visiting. We spend most of our time at our desks, just working through the piles of folders and digital files. It’s a quiet enough street, but you still hear the occasional vendor or car horn. Our team is pretty small, and we’ve all known each other for a long time now. We don't go in for big titles or formal stuff. If the printer jams, whoever is closest fixes it. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while, and it feels more like a second home than a corporate office. There’s always someone bringing in snacks to share, and we usually take turns making the tea. It’s a bit cluttered with books and old records, but that’s just how we like it. We aren't looking to move anytime soon. It is a comfortable space for us to get through the day.
