Our office is on the ground floor at number 9, right in Church Lane. This part of Bhogal in Jungpura Extension has its own feel, being tucked away but still quite busy. Being on the ground floor means we see everyone walking past the window all day. It’s a bit of an old building, but it stays cool enough in the summer if we keep the door shut. We do our work here for Scott Wilson India, mostly focusing on projects and keeping the files organized. It’s not the biggest space, so we have to keep things tidy or we’d run out of room for the desks. The lane outside gets pretty narrow when cars try to park on both sides. We usually walk out to the main road if we need to grab lunch or some supplies. It’s a quiet enough spot for most of the morning, then it picks up in the afternoon. We have some plants by the entrance that we try to keep alive, though the Delhi heat doesn't always help. There’s a lot of paper moving around and people talking on phones. It’s just a regular workplace where we show up, do what needs doing, and then lock up in the evening. Nothing too complicated about it. We’ve been in this Bhogal spot for a bit and know the neighbors pretty well by now. The tea man knows exactly how we like our drinks by this point.
