Our office for J M D Transinfo Pvt Ltd is located at 18 in Aaya Nagar, not too far from Mehrauli. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to the area. The road is a little rough in places, especially after it rains. We have been in this building for several years now. It’s a sturdy brick place that stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We handle a lot of information related to transport and logistics. There are always piles of manifests and clipboards lying around on the counters. It’s not the kind of office where people wear suits. We are usually in jeans or whatever is comfortable for moving around. The parking out front is a bit tight, so we usually have to shuffle cars around midday. We have a small staff, just a handful of people who have been together for a long time. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is dead quiet for hours. We just take it as it comes. There is a big tree right outside the main window that gives us some shade in the afternoons. It is a quiet existence for a company, but we like it that way. No big drama, just steady work in Aaya Nagar. We mostly just focus on getting the data entered and making sure the drivers know where they are going.
