Hitek Business Systems is based at 397 on the ground floor. We are in Sant Nagar, which is in the East of Kailash area. It’s a very busy part of Delhi. The ground floor location is handy because we don’t have to deal with stairs when we’re moving heavy boxes around. It’s a pretty standard office setup inside. We have desks, computers, and a lot of cables running everywhere. It’s not particularly pretty, but it’s where we do our thinking and working. The street outside is always full of cars and people going about their business. We’ve been in Sant Nagar for a good bit now. Some of the staff have been here since we first opened this branch. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a fountain or anything like that. It’s just a door and a desk. We handle business systems, so we’re usually buried in technical details or talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living in this city. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations about ourselves. We’d rather just fix whatever problem is right in front of us. It’s a practical way to run things. Most of our clients come to us because someone they know told them we were here. We just keep our heads down and work. It's a living.
