Hari Engg. Works

We’ve been based in Okhla Industrial Area for quite some time now. Our workshop is at 108, D.S.I.D.C. Shed, specifically in Phase-II, Scheme-I. If you’ve ever been to Okhla, you know it’s a place where real work happens every day. It’s loud, it’s often greasy, and there’s always the smell of cut metal and oil in the air. Our shed is just like the others around it—a big open space where we have all our machines and tools set up. Hari Engg. Works isn't a place for suits and ties. We’re usually in work clothes that end up with stains by the end of the shift. The roof makes a lot of noise when it rains, and it can get pretty hot under the metal sheets when the sun is out. We have a small area partitioned off for the paperwork, but most of the action is out on the floor. There’s a lot of clanking and the sound of drills going throughout the day. We know the other guys in the nearby sheds, and we often borrow a tool or a bit of material from each other if we’re short. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team; we just have our hands and the machines. It’s hard work, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a part finished and ready to go out the door.
