Guru Harkishan Hospital Bala Sahib

Guru Harkishan Hospital Bala Sahib is situated in the Bala Sahib Complex over in Makwan Nagar, right by the Ring Road in the Ashram area. It is a big place that covers a lot of ground. Because we are near the Ring Road, we end up seeing a lot of people from across the city who find the location easy to get to. The hospital itself is quite broad, with different wings for various needs. It is not a place for fancy decorations. Everything here has a purpose, from the chairs in the waiting room to the beds in the wards. We have a lot of staff members who live in the Makwan Nagar and Ashram areas, so they know the community well. The vibe is very much about getting the work done. You won’t find any polished corporate brochures here. Instead, you’ll find doctors and nurses who are busy checking charts and talking to families. Sometimes things move quickly, and other times there is a bit of a wait, but that is standard for a hospital this size. We try to be as helpful as we can with the resources we have. It’s a practical environment for healthcare. People come here because they know the name and they know we are right there on the Ring Road. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day. It is a constant cycle of helping people get back on their feet.
