Gpatisserie

Gpatisserie is based on the ground floor of D-16 in Kalkaji. We chose this spot because it’s a good mix of residential and commercial, though finding a place to park near the door is almost impossible. The space isn't very large, so we have to be very organized with our equipment and supplies. It’s a very practical setup. We have our ovens in the back and a small area in the front for taking orders and doing the paperwork. The whole place smells like fresh bread and cakes most of the time, which is probably why people stop by even if they weren't planning to. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us who do everything from the actual baking to cleaning the floors at the end of the day. The kitchen gets very hot, so we usually have the fans on full blast, which makes it a bit noisy. We don't have a fancy lounge for customers or a big showroom. It’s mostly just stainless steel counters and racks filled with trays. The lighting is bright and functional, not atmospheric. We spend a lot of time on our feet, and the work is often quite tiring. We don't have a big marketing plan; we just focus on the daily task of making sure everything we bake is up to the mark before it goes out to the neighbors.
