Genovate

If you find yourself in Sri Niwas Puri, specifically at G 694, you’ll find Genovate. We are located in a part of New Delhi that is pretty lived-in and busy. The office is small and we’ve squeezed in as much as we could. We have a couple of computers that are a few years old but they still work fine for what we need. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, so we tell everyone to watch their step. Delhi summers are no joke, and our little AC unit struggles sometimes when it gets really hot outside. We do a bit of everything here, mostly technical and administrative stuff. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s coffee order. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. You just walk in and someone will look up from their screen to help you. The neighborhood is a mix of homes and small businesses, so it feels very grounded. We spend a lot of time on the phone or emailing people. Sometimes the internet acts up, but that is just part of living here. We don't have any grand statements to make about our work. We just do it as well as we can and try to stay organized. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve been here long enough that it feels like part of the furniture.
