Our place is in Phase-I of the Okhla Industrial Area, at B-56. It is one of those big grey buildings that looks like every other building on the street. Inside, it is mostly just work. We have a lot of paperwork and files stacked up on the wooden desks. The air is often thick with the smell of machinery and maybe a bit of dust from the road outside. Trucks are constantly backing in and out of the gates, which makes a lot of noise throughout the day. We don't really have a reception area with flowers or anything like that. You just walk in and find someone at a desk. The workers wear heavy boots and are always moving something from one corner to the other. In the summer, the fans just push the hot air around, so we drink a lot of cold water from the dispenser. We’ve had the same crew for a long time, so we don't have to say much to get things moving. It’s a practical setup. We focus on the industrial side of things and don't worry much about how the office looks to outsiders. Most people who come here are just looking for their shipments or wanting to talk about a specific part. It’s a busy, gritty kind of life here in Okhla, but we are used to the noise by now.
