E.Chawla & Co. (P) Ltd. operates out of N-258 in Greater Kailash 1. It’s a well-known neighborhood, but our specific street is a bit quieter than the main markets. The building is a typical GK house that’s been converted into a workspace. It has that lived-in feel, which we like. We’ve got a few rooms dedicated to the work and a small area where we keep the records. It’s not a massive corporate tower. It feels more like a home that turned into an office over time. The trees outside give some shade during the hot Delhi summers. We spend a lot of time here, sometimes even on weekends when there is a lot to catch up on. You can hear the neighborhood sounds, like the vegetable sellers passing by or the cars parking. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and take short breaks. The carpets are a little worn in the spots where we walk the most, but that just shows we’ve been here for years. It’s a comfortable place to work. We don't really do the whole polished corporate look because that’s not who we are. We just want a reliable place to handle our daily tasks without a lot of fuss. GK 1 is a good base for us because it’s central and everyone knows the way. It’s just a normal office in a normal building where we get our work done.
